Who Is Joe Hart?

Joe Hart has been playing guitar for 21 years, has a B.A. in Music, and has been teaching for over 15 years. He has recorded and released thirteen CD’s, written and published four books, builds and customizes guitars, designs and builds various music-related electronics, and all sorts of other "mad scientist" type stuff.

About 10 years ago, Hart decided to form Rabbath Recordings (the name is an amalgam of two of his favorite bands, Rush and Black Sabbath). "I decided that rather than putting my future in the hands of some faceless corporation, I would just form my own multi-functional company where I could do anything I wanted without running it by a committee," he says.

Hart is quite respected among his peers. He’s "the best guitarist ever," asserts Chris Poland, former guitarist of the multi-platinum Heavy Metal band Megadeth, who then underscores this statement with an emphatic "no, really!" During a recent trip to L.A. to take part in a guitar seminar hosted by Uli Jon Roth, Hart had to show Chris Impelitteri (voted the 2nd fastest guitarist ever in a Guitar World Magazine poll) a thing or two.
